Cece Ferrell wrote her first short story at the age of eight and has had a passion for the written word ever since. She developed a love for romance while pregnant with her first daughter, though admits the love affair likely began when she started sneaking her mom's Danielle Steel novels at the ripe old age of twelve. An intense fascination with stories from the past, art history, and history led her to getting her B.A. degree in Renaissance Studies from the University of California Santa Barbara. She also met her husband there while working at a well known home improvement store, so needless to say, Santa Barbara was good to her. Cece is currently getting her graduate degree in Library and Information Science from San Jose State University.

Cece loves: words, especially of the four letter variety, snark, tea, all things crafty, and flawed characters that love passionately. She is a sucker for a great smile and thinks there is almost nothing better in the world than dessert.

She has lived in many places, and while Paris and Washington top the list for her favorite, nothing feels like home as much as California's beaches. Cece resides in the Portland, OR area with her husband and two girls who constantly keep her on her toes.

When she's not writing, Cece can be found reading voraciously, working on school work, hanging with her family, having get-together's with friends, or thrift shopping with her kiddos. Her first novel, Through the Mist is now available on all retailers.
